watch/1385123137 In the framework of an agreement on cooperation of marine monitoring between
Nuclear Regulation Authority(NRA) and
the IAEA that was reached in
early October 2013, two IAEA experts of marine monitoring,
Mr. David Osborn, Director of Environment Laboratories and
Mr. Hartmut Nies, Head of Radiometrics Laboratory,
stay in Japan from 6 to 12 November 2013.
They observed the seawater sampling near
Fukushima Daiichi NPSon ship board on 7 November and visited
Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO)'s Analysis Facility respectively in
Fukushima Daiichi NPS next day.
Then they exchanged information with Japanese organizations including the NRA and
relevant organizations.
