Though it is one of the world's largest metropolises, Tokyo is home to abundant and wide-ranging natural beauty. In order to create a comfortable, high-quality urban environment, Tokyo must halt the decline of its greenery, revive areas of rich green and water, and work to improve the city's quality and attractiveness. For these reasons, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has formulated its "Green plan 2012: City Biodiversity Strategy" and is hard at work on a variety of initiatives. This DVD will take a closer look at efforts in three categories of the Green Plan: Harness, Conserve, and Create.
